This story was born out of a heated discussion with online friends concerning the death penalty and the law. I began to wander how justice and peace might be achieved in our near-future based upon the current course of our nation, and from it was born this tale of a society in which justice rests in the hands of every single individual. And I can tell you right now, it ain't pretty.
